I understand that feeling deeply. After more than 15 years of teaching fitness, I thought I knew my body inside and out. But when I turned 50, everything changed.

Menopause hit me hard and fast — physically, mentally, emotionally. I experienced the confusion, the frustration, the exhaustion…

I kept moving. I kept learning. I kept searching for answers — not quick fixes, but real, sustainable ways to feel better again. Through natural approaches, mindful movement, and consistency, I found relief… and a new version of strength I never expected.

Today, I feel more centered, more informed, and more connected to my body than ever before.

My Journey

My fitness journey didn’t start in a gym — it started with a challenge.

After moving to the United States, I gained over 40 pounds in my first year. That experience pushed me to take control of my health and rediscover my strength.

With a background as a national Judo gold medalist and years of training in martial arts, I already understood discipline — but this was different. This was personal.

Over time, what began as a personal transformation became my purpose. I transitioned from a career in journalism into fitness, dedicating my life to helping others feel strong, capable, and confident in their bodies — no matter their age or starting point.

Gigi Fitness offers a wide variety of digital classes and movement experiences that range from 5 to 60 minutes. Many classes are open level and offer options and modifications for both beginner and advanced exercisers. Each class is designed to spark curiosity, illicit joy, and awaken the connection between your mental and physical self. Gigi pulls from various movement modalities to create an positive experience no matter what your background is.

ABSOLUTELY! As an experienced fitness coach, I have extensive knowledge in scaling exercises for many abilities.  I will guide you through different modifications to make the exercises both more difficult and more manageable. You will need to be able to get up and down from the floor, depending on what class you are taking. As always, clearance from your doctor to exercise is recommended.

It is understandable that not everyone is comfortable jumping, so jumping is always optional and there will be options to offer choices in the program design. Please note that on any *Silversneakers and *Healthy Aging classes there will be no jumping or floor work. The use of a chair will be recommended, but it’s also optional. The main focus in every class is to give you a great workout, and to make sure you are safe and injury free!

Please let me know - ideally, before class begins! I can always offer you some recommendations on how to modify a move to keep you safe, active, and confident. However, please always follow your doctor’s recommendations when joining a class.

Gigi Fitness offers a more personal approach, years of experience, and accountability! I will take care of you, by watching you and your form/technique to ensure you are moving safely and effectively. Yes, I really do see you and we will interact! To the ones who know me already, I provide encouragement in a way that motivates, entertains and keeps you safe. Sometimes we do need to take a break in the middle of a class… and that is perfectly fine with me! We will be working out together and keeping each other accountable. How about that? But do not be a stranger! If I notice you have been missing classes too often, I will check on you because I care about you! So be aware that I will be checking on you from time to time.

Creating an account takes care of the formalities such as the liability waiver and speeds up the class the registration process. I strongly suggest you create an account so your transition to take a class is smooth.

When purchasing a membership or a package you have the opportunity to create an account by filling in the form provided.

Please go to the JOIN NOW! section of this website, and select the membership or package by clicking the button BUY NOW. It will take you to another window to fill in a form with your information to either LOGIN or SIGN UP to create an account.

As long as you have a computer and an account with Gigi Fitness, you can sign up for a live class at any time! There is also a drop-in rate and class packs for those who would prefer to not subscribe. If you have a Premium membership, you have access to ALL of the content on the platform, including live classes. If you have a Silver membership, all classes marked with an* are available to you.

Whenever you want! If you register in advance, you’ll receive an email confirmation and a reminder email 30-minutes before class. If you register as class is getting started, you’ll launch the class from the website (must be logged in). And, it is OK if you are a bit late.

You can purchase a 24 hour rental of any on demand class. To gain access to the entire on demand library for unlimited use, purchase the Premium Membership. If you have purchased a Silver Membership, you have access to content labeled *Healthy Aging.

As you might have already guessed, there are several expenses and fees involved on the creation of this virtual community and to keep this site running. The initial payment is a one time payment and you will not be charged ever again for this. You will continue to enjoy your membership at your locked-in lowest rate available at this time.

Premium Membership gives you access to every live, on demand, and recorded live class on the platform. The Silver Membership gives you access to all the *Healthy aging live streaming classes (marked with an *) plus access to the On Demand library of the recordings of ONLY these classes. However, being a member with either membership also gives you the opportunity to participate in future fitness challenges and special programs at a discounted membership price.

The Silversneakers membership is a special offering of this site for active adults with this kind of fitness perk offered by their insurance. You need to show proof of your Silversneakers membership beforehand and you are limited to all live classes with camera On. It is like attending a class at a physical gym. You are present, but virtually on video.

The Silver membership allows you to attend these *Healthy aging live classes, and also access the on demand library of the recordings at your convenience and at no extra cost. There is no need to provide proof of insurance.

There are many expenses and fees involved in the creation of this virtual community as well as to keep this site running. The initial payment is a one time payment and you will not be charged ever again for this membership which allows you to attend all the Silversneakers approved classes. If you are enjoying the free classes enough, you are always welcome to make a donation to the site at your convenience. Email gigifitnessus@gmail.com to request information whenever you feel like making a contribution.

When you create your Silversneakers Only account with Gigi Fitness, you are granted access to all live-streaming classes currently approved and sponsored by TIVITY Health. You need to be logged in into your account with GigiFitness.com to access these classes free of charge. Make sure you are logged in before trying to book your spot into any live-streaming class. If you are logged in, and you are trying to book a spot into a class that asks you for a payment, then that class is not included with you SilverSneakers Only membership.

Make sure you are logged in with your Gigi Fitness account before trying to book your spot for any live-streaming class or to rent a recording on the On Demand Library. If you are logged in, and you are still being asked for a payment, then that particular class/recording is under a category that is not included with your SilverSneakers or Silver membership.

Yes! You can purchase a 24 hour rental of any Premium On Demand class. Your Silver Membership already grants you access to all content labeled Healthy Aging classes (marked with an * ) on the On Demand library.

If you wish to access more classes, and the On Demand library, then purchasing a Silver or Premium membership is an option available to you. Please email me whenever you are ready to buy a new membership.

Sure do! You can use any valid Credit Card of your preference to buy a membership (some transaction fees might be added). Please note that signing up for any type of membership with Gigi Fitness is voluntary and most likely non-refundable by your insurance company.

Yes! Gigi Fitness is committed to making fitness as accessible as possible to you and meet you where you are in your busy schedule. The On Demand Membership is best for those who are pressed for time and are looking to integrate an abbreviated, but effective workout into their busy life.
